Community Fare

St George Community Fair

‘IS YOUR GROUP REPRESENTED?

We are hosting the St George Community Fair in the Church and Hall on Saturday 24th March (11.00 – 2.00). This is the third year for the Fair, and it’s aim is to showcase the activities of Voluntary Groups and Agencies working in the St George area to the wider community. The Fair will be formally opened by the Lord Mayor of Bristol, and we have Groups and Agencies representing children, youth, older people, Recreation and Leisure, the Environment, Sport, Faith Communities, Local History, Education, the Police, and City Council Services. We also use the Fair to support Children’s Hospice South West (CHSW). If a Voluntary Group that you are involved with wish to be involved or would like to know more, please get in touch with Jim Donaldson (0117 9600213 or email bycl@blueyonder.co.uk . A Group can have a Display Stand, or if they would prefer, there will be an ‘Information Stand’ for leaflets advertising the services of Groups and Agencies who are unable to attend in person. There is no charge for a Stand, but what we ask all those taking part is to consider making a voluntary donation to CHSW.’
